She started working for a library within Heaven, a program coordinator for children's literature.Never did she expect to be asked to go down to Hell, as a secret agent at that! She didn't understand - why her? She isn't a fighter, or a spy. She's a librarian! But, when the ones above you tell you to do something, you can't exactly say no.And so, Aya ended up down in Hell, at a certain hotel. The moment her aunt and uncle found out, they forced her to pretend to be mute, forcing her to wear makeup to cover her scales.These days, she’s a children’s author and keeps a low profile - still wearing makeup to cover her scales and faking being mute, communicating almost exclusively in ASL. One day, she overheard the High Priestess speak about how they were grooming Aya to take her role one day.Only one problem: Aya's a kind hearted soul at heart. She hates Umberlee's cruelty and coldness. So she left the Temple, ran away at 16. In the woods outside Baldur's Gate she found an injured animal and tried to help it - a druid in wildshape. The 'animal' urged her towards the grove, and Aya followed.Aya was taken in by the druids and she spent the next many years there, learning everything she could. Half-tiefling and half-elven, her lifespan is a little wonky, but she matured at the rate of most humanoid species - she appears to be in her late 20s/early 30, but is roughly 50.A druid, and cleric of Lliira, Aya wants nothing more than to bring not only peace to the world, but joy as well. Even now she tries to keep a grounded but positive outlook, doing what she can to help people in little ways.

Dragged from her home world in the One Piece anime, Aya had a hard time adjusting to life in the much more modern Devildom. Still learning the cultural references and how to work her phone, she's finally starting to properly adjust to this new way of life. The brothers don't scare her. How can they, when she comes from a world of giants and monsters? To her, they're family now.

Distraught, the brothers and Sarah take her down to the mausoleum and lay her to rest in a glass casket. Perhaps due to the Devildom's own latent magic, perhaps due to something else, Aya's death triggers something. She is transformed into a Faun-Demon under the purview of Greed (much to her "brother" Mammon's delight). But with no memories and in an unfamiliar place, it's a rocky start. It's been a slow journey, but she and the brothers are navigating this change and her returning memories.

Raised in the City of the Freedom, Aya works as a civilian contracted for the Knights of Favonius. Her role is two sided: when at home, she helps manage the library under Lisa and helps babysit Klee. When away, her role is to find old, ancient, or otherwise important texts or documents to either copy or take back to Mondstadt to be preserved.

Born on the oceanic planet of Lushaka, Aya was born to a species living beneath the waves as opposed to above them. Her mother abandoned her young, and Aya was raised with her father, who always encouraged his daughter’s kind spirit and curious nature.Looking like Earth’s mermaids, she grew up curious about the world above and beyond them. But unlike the Little Mermaid, Aya didn’t need a Sea Witch to grant her wish.The technology exists to allow her to be above the sea, sitting in a hover-chair like device shaped like a shallow seashell. Additionally, she wears a thin bubble-like belt around her waist, a rebreather of sorts. While she is able to breath air, it isn’t as efficient, so the belt helps.She joins the Astral Express prior to the game’s events. How she joins exactly is still up in the air - possibly the Express stopped by Lushaka, perhaps she ran into them somewhere else - maybe I’ll keep the original meeting origin, idk.Her species doesn’t often - if ever - leave her home planet, so she often stands out if she allows her tail to be visible. To hide it, she often has a blanket covering her lap/tail while she floats along in her hover-shell, giving her the appearance of just someone who uses a chair.Originally, she followed the path of the Harmony - and, in combat, that’s her combat path - her combat type is Imaginary. Support type, she buffs team members effect res and debuff res (specifically control effect res).

Born abord a Marine Vessel, Aya was left, abandoned, when the ship was destroyed in the storm and was likely doomed to die in the ocean. A miracle occured, though, and the tiny baby washed ashore a small winter island, where she was found by the King and Queen. The Royals were unable to concieve children of their own and so she was seen as an omen, a gift from the gods. Taken in, Aya was rasied as the Crown Princess of Vetur.

And at 18, she was kicked out of the orphanage with nothing more than the clothes on her back and barely enough bellie to buy lunch.She wasn’t sure if she would survive, if not for fate intervening: on the docks, a true fishwoman stood. Beautiful, tall, fierce. All sharp angles and wild energy. Aya approached, asking if she had a ship. If she could join her. And at first, the fishwoman tried to shoo her away, thinking her another human.Then Aya pulled down the hood, took the sunglasses away from her face.Andria wanted to pick her up and keep her in her pocket. Safe, protected, loved.A faint grin crossed the angler fishwoman’s face. “Alright kid, c’mon then. Gonna need to double my supplies and you’re gonna help carry it.” Aya nodded, almost eagerly so, her eyes almost seemed to twinkle like actual stars lurked in that inky blackness.And so the duo would sail together for the years to come, nearly 10 years passing before reaching the world today.

Growing up in the fishman disctric of Fishman Island meant that Andria learned how to take care of herself young. Learning Fish Man Karate at a young age, Andria set out for the surface at age 18, wanting to make her mark on the world. After seeing how the world treated her kind (she knew, but it was different seeing it), Andria became a mercenary, going wherever the money was.Andria joined the ship about a year after Aya first left her home as a bouncer for the ship. Being over 8 feet tall, she does the job well and keeps more would-be trouble makers out of line. However, her role on the ship has shifted and expanded somewhat - in truth, she’s Aya’s unofficial/semi-official bodyguard and protector. born into a family of traveling circus performers, Noemi trained as a high-wire acrobat from a very young age.
